Ducks Sign Mitchell to One-Year, Two-Way Contract

The Anaheim Ducks have signed defenseman Travis Mitchell to a one-year, two-way contract through the 2026-27 NHL season. Mitchell, 26, made his NHL debut with the New York Islanders in 2025-26, appearing in nine games with one goal, and spent the majority of that season with Bridgeport of the AHL where he recorded 17 points. The South Lyon, Michigan native is a 6-4, 205-pound defenseman who previously played four seasons at Cornell University and has 163 career AHL games with Bridgeport.
