Marcus Pettersson traded to Rangers by Canucks
TheWire2h ago
The Vancouver Canucks traded defenseman Marcus Pettersson to the New York Rangers on Wednesday for a conditional first-round pick in the 2030 NHL Draft. Pettersson, 30, has five years remaining on a six-year, $33 million contract with an average annual value of $5.5 million that he signed with Vancouver on Feb. 5, 2025. If the Rangers' pick falls within the top 10 of the 2030 draft, it will transfer to the 2031 draft as an unprotected pick.
