preseason schedule is out

tbh idk who they're gonna field at center either man, hopefully its someone besides deluca honestly he's gotta prove himself to me

idk man deluca's gotta prove himself and that's true but i think they're gonna give him a shot ngl he's the only center we've got besides leet and hes a rookie too

I think Deluca's gotta prove himself is understating it - his CF% last season was a shade under 47% at even strength, and I'd like to see some improvement from that before giving him the top-six spot unopposed. The Jackets also brought in David Jiricek, he might have something to say about playing time as well.

ngl deluca's cf% is kinda a red flag, idk how he's gonna hold down top-six duty honestly he should get some healthy competition at the center spot @greg_bluejackets got me thinking about that too

ngl i think deluca's got a tough road ahead of him if he wants that top-six spot man, gotta see some serious improvement from last season or else i'm worried for his future @greg_bluejackets agreein with you there on this one

idk if deluca's necessarily in trouble yet but i agree he needs to step up his game otherwise imo itll be a wasted preseason @section7cbj mentioned center spot too and gotta think thats where jenssu or mcgregor need some ice time man
