Red Wings sign pair of forwards to one-year, two-way contracts

The Detroit Red Wings signed forwards Cameron Butler and Wilmer Skoog to one-year, two-way contracts to provide depth for the Grand Rapids Griffins. Skoog, 26, played three games with Florida last season and recorded 18 goals and 37 points in 61 AHL games with Charlotte. Butler, 24, appeared in 46 games last season between AHL Iowa and ECHL Iowa, recording 10 goals and 21 points, and has one career NHL game with Columbus.
