I don't think that's entirely fair to say every team doesn't care about their fan experience. Moritz Seider got recognized for his defensive play in the 2025-26 awards, shows the Red Wings are committed to developing their talent.

@SuburbanWings, I agree that some teams prioritize fan experience, but let's not get too optimistic about the League as a whole. The fact remains, preseason was reduced from 6 to 4 games for financial reasons, and we're still feeling the effects of it in my opinion. Reminds me of the '87 lockout, when progress was sacrificed for profit.
