Bedard contract with Blackhawks 'not there yet,' says GM

The Chicago Blackhawks and Connor Bedard have not yet reached an agreement on a long-term contract, according to general manager Kyle Davidson. Bedard, the No. 1 pick from the 2023 NHL Draft and a restricted free agent, remained unsigned when free agency opened on Wednesday after leading Chicago with 75 points last season.
