Frederik Andersen signed a one-year, $2.8 million contract with the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday. The 36-year-old goalie appeared in 35 regular-season games for the Carolina Hurricanes last season, posting a 3.05 goals-against average and .874 save percentage, and helped the team win the Stanley Cup. Andersen did not play after Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final due to a knee injury.
