Kiviranta signs 1-year, $1 million contract with Stars

Joel Kiviranta signed a one-year, $1 million contract with the Dallas Stars on Wednesday after spending three seasons with the Colorado Avalanche. The 30-year-old forward recorded nine points in 51 games for Colorado last season and previously played five seasons with Dallas. Kiviranta has 69 points in 349 games across his time with both teams and 14 points in 56 playoff games.
