Panthers ‘really happy’ with swift roster makeover
The Florida Panthers completed multiple roster moves during an 11-day span, including acquiring forward Brady Tkachuk from Ottawa, trading for a new goalie tandem, and signing veterans Lars Eller and Alexander Petrovic on the first day of free agency. The moves came after the team missed the Stanley Cup Playoffs last season following back-to-back championship wins. General manager Bill Zito stated the team is "really happy" with the players acquired to fill specific roster needs identified during the offseason.
