Marchment signs 5-year, $33.75 million contract with Sharks

Mason Marchment signed a five-year, $33.75 million contract with the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday, with an average annual value of $6.75 million. The 31-year-old forward recorded 45 points in 68 games last season split between the Columbus Blue Jackets and Seattle Kraken. Marchment's father, Bryan, played 17 seasons in the NHL including six seasons with the Sharks from 1998-2003 before his death in 2022 while working as a scout for the organization.
