The Vegas Golden Knights signed defenseman Rasmus Andersson to a seven-year contract through the 2032-33 season with an average annual value of $8.5 million on July 1, 2026. Andersson, 29, was acquired from the Calgary Flames on January 18 and played 33 regular season games with Vegas, recording 17 points with a +1 rating, while skating in all 22 of the Golden Knights' Stanley Cup Playoff games with six assists and a +2 rating.

yea but 7 yrs for him might not be so bad considering his size and gap control hes pretty solid on the back end dont get me wrong tho, vegas prob overpaid a bit
