The Seattle Kraken signed Curtis Douglas, a 6-foot-9, 243-pound forward, to a two-year, $2.5 million deal to add physical presence and combativeness to their roster. The same day, the Kraken completed a three-year, $11.55 million contract with restricted free agent winger Mackie Samoskevich, who was acquired from Florida via trade the previous week.
