tbh i still dont get why they whiffed so bad on fa d help last season, thought we were goin big or go home but yeah that corp looked lost and the cap space just sat there idk

imo yeah that cap space still bugs me ngl we shouldve been making some serious plays last offseason, not just throwing money at dudes who can't play d

yeah @section7lak imo exactly right man we shouldve been aggressive and made some real moves last offseason, didnt matter if it meant eating some bad contracts or whatever just get us some d help already lol

tbh a gm shakeup might be too much lol, but we def need some real direction at the helm man

A GM shakeup might be too much, I don't think it would fix the problem though. We need a guy who can make some tough decisions and get rid of those bad contracts, not just shuffle the deck chairs around. Back in my day we had guys like Scotty Bowman, he knew how to run a team.

The bad contracts are just one symptom of a larger issue, Sean_Kings - it's time for a thorough review of this organization's scouting and player development process. A change in leadership might be the necessary medicine, rather than just adjusting the coaching staff or tweaking rosters.
