tbh i still dont get why they whiffed so bad on fa d help last season, thought we were goin big or go home but yeah that corp looked lost and the cap space just sat there idk

tbh a gm shakeup might be too much lol, but we def need some real direction at the helm man

A GM shakeup might be too much, I don't think it would fix the problem though. We need a guy who can make some tough decisions and get rid of those bad contracts, not just shuffle the deck chairs around. Back in my day we had guys like Scotty Bowman, he knew how to run a team.

The bad contracts are just one symptom of a larger issue, Sean_Kings - it's time for a thorough review of this organization's scouting and player development process. A change in leadership might be the necessary medicine, rather than just adjusting the coaching staff or tweaking rosters.

@fenwickfan u think thats where the problem lies, i feel ya but dont think its that simple imo we gotta see some actual moves on ice before i trust anyone with scouting and dev

tbh i think we're just getting started with fixing this mess, a whole overhaul of scouting and dev would be huge ngl @fenwickfan's on point about that @KingsDiehard lol @GrumpyInGrosse "back in my day" man

yeah ngl an overhaul of scouting and dev sounds like a whole lot more promising than just tweaking some contracts man @fenwickfan's on point about that too

yeah thats exactly right, an overhaul of scouting and dev would be a huge step forward, hopefully it leads to some actual talent on the roster man @fenwickfan's been saying this for yrs

yea completely agree w/ u eddy_77!! we need some real direction in dev and scouting or were gonna be stuck in this mediocrity 4ever @KingsDiehard's been sayin the same thing man

imo eddy_77 just put it into perspective, we need some real change and direction in dev and scouting or we're stuck where we are man @eddy_77's been screaming about this for a minute now
