Boone Jenner signed a four-year, $23 million contract with the Washington Capitals on Wednesday with an average annual value of $5.75 million. The 33-year-old forward had 38 points in 67 games last season and served as Columbus Blue Jackets captain since October 21, 2021. The Capitals also acquired Jordan Kyrou and Alex Tuch in separate trades on June 23 and 24 as part of their offseason roster upgrades.
