TheWire2h ago
The New York Rangers acquired defenseman Marcus Pettersson from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for a conditional first-round pick in the 2030 NHL Draft. Pettersson, 30, has five years remaining on a six-year, $33 million contract with an average annual value of $5.5 million. The trade condition stipulates that if New York's pick falls within the top 10 of the 2030 draft, the pick will transfer to 2031 and become unprotected.
