Solid pick up for the Wings, Kolesar brings some grit and depth scoring. Not sure if he'll crack the top 9 regularly but he's a good fit on the bottom six.

The Detroit Red Wings acquired forward Keegan Kolesar from the Vegas Golden Knights on July 1, 2026, in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2029 NHL Entry Draft and a seventh-round pick in the 2027 NHL Entry Draft. Kolesar, 29, recorded 17 points in 82 games during the 2025-26 season with Vegas and has registered 120 points in 439 regular-season games with the Golden Knights since 2019-20, including a Stanley Cup championship in 2023.
