Kolesar traded to Red Wings by Golden Knights

The Vegas Golden Knights traded forward Keegan Kolesar to the Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2029 NHL Draft and a seventh-round pick in the 2027 NHL Draft. Kolesar, 29, recorded 17 points in 82 regular-season games for Vegas last season and has two years remaining on his three-year, $7.5 million contract. The forward has 120 points in 439 regular-season games across his tenure with the Golden Knights.
