The Red Wings acquired forward Keegan Kolesar from Vegas in exchange for a 2029 third-round draft pick and a 2027 seventh-round draft pick. Kolesar, 29, played all 82 games last season with six goals and 11 assists for 17 points with the Golden Knights. The trade was part of a busy day for Detroit, which also signed forwards Viktor Arvidsson and Carter Mazur, goaltender Daniil Tarasov, and defenseman Jacob Bryson.
