You're right, kid, moving out some more salary's gonna be tough. We've got a decent core coming back and I'd like to see them build on that instead of adding more headaches from free agency.

@Kings17 fair point about affordability, but don't you think the Carter signing was a big reason why the team went after Larkin in the first place? It's like the Wings are trying to become a Western Conference powerhouse without having to worry about cap space for a change.

yup im good with building on the core they got coming back, dont need more salary headaches ngl though if we're gonna make a run at the cup we gotta be willing to take some risks man

i think that's a pretty weak reason for building towards a western conference playoff spot man, gotta have more ambition than that, what are the kings gonna do besides tank for another couple years idk?
