The Detroit Red Wings signed defenseman Jacob Bryson to a one-year deal worth $850,000 on Wednesday. Bryson, a 28-year-old left-shooting defenseman, played 50 games last season split between Buffalo and Winnipeg, recording two goals and six assists. The signing brings the Red Wings' experienced NHL defenseman group to seven, including Moritz Seider, Justin Faulk, and Ben Chiarot.
