The Detroit Red Wings signed defenseman Jacob Bryson to a one-year contract with an average annual value of $850,000. Bryson, 28, most recently split the 2025-26 season between the Buffalo Sabres and Winnipeg Jets, recording eight points in 50 games. The defenseman has skated in 304 games with Buffalo and Winnipeg since 2020-21.

not impressd by this signing...bryson plays 18 min a game which is fine but i still dont think he addresses our PP woes...we need someone who can get us some goals with the man advantage...his numbers are decent but im not convinced hes the answer to our special teams struggles.
idk about u andy_v but i think its a decent signing tbh...850k is a pretty low risk and he brings some experience to our d corps which could be helpful imo
