The Anaheim Ducks signed four players to two-year two-way contracts: right wing Judd Caulfield, center James Hamblin, and defensemen Corey Schueneman and Jett Woo. Caulfield, 25, recorded 38-51=89 points in 204 career AHL games with San Diego and had 17-21=38 points in 71 games during the 2025-26 season. Hamblin, 27, has appeared in 41 career NHL games with Edmonton and 282 career AHL games with Bakersfield, scoring 88-84=172 points.

What's your read, folks?
I think it's a solid depth signing by the Ducks. Caulfield and Woo bring some much-needed scoring punch from the blueline, with Hamblin providing more veteran presence in the bottom six. Schueneman's two-way experience will also help bolster their organizational D-corps.
Caulfield's AHL production is impressive, particularly considering his age (25). He should slot into a top-nine role on the Ducks' roster immediately, assuming he gets a fair opportunity.
tbh caulfield is a good pickup, 89 points in 204 ahl games is legit but dont think he makes it past eberle and deslauriers on the wings ngl hamblin tho, that guy can play some nhl games but wont be doing much with the ducks this season
