The Tampa Bay Lightning traded forward Nick Paul to the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for goalie Dennis Hildeby, a 2027 fourth-round draft pick, and a 2028 third-round draft pick. Paul, 31, recorded 15 points in 51 games last season in his fifth year with Tampa Bay. Hildeby, 24, appeared in 20 games for Toronto last season with a 5-7-4 record, 2.86 goals-against average, and .914 save percentage.
