Eetu Luostarinen signed an eight-year contract with the Florida Panthers on Wednesday that begins in the 2027-28 season, with financial terms undisclosed. The 27-year-old forward, a two-time Stanley Cup winner with the team in 2024 and 2025, recorded 33 points in 73 games last season and has one year remaining on his current contract. The signing is part of an active offseason for the Panthers that also included acquiring goalie Jacob Markstrom and defenseman Radko Gudas.

luostarinen deserves it tbh he's been clutch in playoffs and i'm glad hes committing long term to florida he's gonna be a great leader for their squad ngl i was worried about losing him as ufa next season but 8 years is solid security for them cap take wont hurt so bad lol
Kid, I gotta agree with you there. Luostarinen's been a winner for that Panthers team and he's earned every bit of this long-term deal. He's got two Cups under his belt and still has some good years left in him, so it's a smart signing by Florida's management.
