The Anaheim Ducks signed left wing Jeff Malott to a three-year contract through the 2028-29 season on July 1, 2026. Malott, 29, has appeared in 71 career NHL games with Los Angeles and Winnipeg, recording 3-7=10 points. He posted career highs during the 2025-26 season with Los Angeles, appearing in 58 games and recording 3-6=9 points while ranking second among Kings leaders in hits with 166.

idk whats so bad about malott hes not gonna break the bank and he's got some grit which is something ducks havent had much of lately ngl
