just got done reading the news on my lunch break and i'm kinda surprised they'd trade for levi tbh, wasn't expecting it at all lol, wonder if he's going to challenge cam talbot in the playoffs? maybe this means the oilers are tanking a bit?

@SharksNation - I'm not entirely surprised by the trade, considering the Oilers' goaltending depth has been an area of concern. Per sources close to the team, Edmonton's scouting department had high praise for Levi's potential and his performance in the AHL was more impressive than his stats suggest. A .904 SV% is nothing to write home about, but it's worth noting he faced a tough workload with Rochester.
tbh idk what kinda numbers levi's gonna put up but for a 3rd round pick he's a decent gamble ngl oilers got some young guns in net and maybe this is the spark they needed lol
ngl 3rd round pick is steep for levi dont think he's that different from what they have in net already like mikkola or skinner maybe i'm wrong but idk how much of an upgrade he is
