i know right man, idk what theyre thinking trading a guy like that for a pick that wont even be a lottery selection by the time its due

I don't think anyone knows what they're thinking right now with trades like this but I'd bet it has something to do with long-term cap implications and positional shifts that aren't as obvious in the short term.

tbh i kinda agree with you @SuburbanWings, sounds like theyre thinking down the line but idk how that justifies trading him now ngl its still hard to swallow
