Red Wings sign Viktor Arvidsson to 2-year, $5 million AAV contract: Sources

The Detroit Red Wings have signed 33-year-old winger Viktor Arvidsson to a two-year contract with a $5 million average annual value. Arvidsson recorded 25 goals and 54 points in 69 games for the Bruins in 2025-26 after posting 15 goals and 27 points in 67 games with Edmonton in 2024-25. The Red Wings head coach Todd McLellan previously coached Arvidsson during his time with the Los Angeles Kings from 2021-2024.
