Viktor Arvidsson signed a two-year, $10 million contract with the Detroit Red Wings on July 1, the first day of NHL free agency. The 33-year-old winger recorded 25 goals and 29 assists in 2025-26 with the Boston Bruins, with 21 of his goals coming at even strength. Arvidsson has appeared in 682 NHL games across his career and previously played for Nashville, Los Angeles, and Edmonton.
