yeah i agree larkin's a great player but his cap hit does look like a real problem imo

I think it's unfair to say that Larkin is too rich of a get. The boy has heart and can skate like the wind - reminds me of Gordie Howe himself in his prime. His cap hit may be steep but sometimes you have to pay for greatness, and I firmly believe he's worth it.

@OldTimeHockeyOtto - that's some nostalgia there, but paying top dollar for a 28-year-old center isn't exactly what I'd call "building for the future". Can't just compare Larkin to Gordie in his prime and ignore the cap implications.

tbh i think u might be underselling how much $ we're talkin about here imo and yeah danM88's got a point too - u can't just pay top dollar for 1 player without thinking about the cap consequences @danM88

ngl oldtime's got some rosy glasses on there tbh larkin's a great player but his contract is a real question mark imo
