The Rangers acquired Pavel Dorofeyev from Vegas on June 26, with the 25-year-old ranking among NHL leaders in goals and power-play goals over the past two seasons. Dorofeyev is tied for second in power-play goals (33) over that span and was one of only two players with at least 65 goals, 25 power-play goals and 450 shots on goal since 2024-25. The trade provides New York with an elite young goal-scorer following their trade of Artemi Panarin to Los Angeles prior to the 2026 Trade Deadline.
