United States announces roster for 2026 World Junior Summer Showcase
The United States announced a 47-player roster for the 2026 World Junior Summer Showcase, which will be held July 26-August 1 in Windsor, Ontario and will feature practices and games with teams from Canada, Finland, and Sweden as the first evaluation step for the 2027 IIHF World Junior Championship. First-round draft picks Chase Reid (selected No. 7 by Seattle) and Wyatt Cullen (selected No. 10 by Nashville) are among those expected to attend, along with forward William Horcoff and goalie Brady Knowling, who also competed at the 2026 WJC. The U.S. finished fifth at the 2026 World Juniors after winning back-to-back championships.
