i think they just hadnt found someone worth the cap hit for 3c yet honestly man. idk why everyone's gettin so worked up about lapierre, he was solid but not untouchable imo

yeah grit is overrated imo mantha can bring that too and he's still our top prospect at c which makes lapierre gettin canned even more reasonable tbh

i think we're bein a little harsh on lapierre @Capitals88, he's still gonna be productive elsewhere and mantha will get his shot in dc before long

ngl i think lapierre's production was way overhyped tbh his defense was always a red flag imo we need someone who can actually shut down the other team's top line for real
