ducks draft recap day 2

tbh i was expecting them to load up on dmen after last year's struggles imo we needed depth and speed upfront but its hard to argue with the skill they picked up

I think you're being too kind saying it's hard to argue with the skill they picked up, I just don't get why they didn't prioritize defense. Reminds me of last summer when they were singing the praises of our 'new-look' team and how we'd be a powerhouse; still haven't seen it materialize yet.

@GrumpyInGrosse honestly i think theyre still trying to piece together what they learned from last offseason and didnt want to overcommit imo its a wait and see thing man

@DucksNation yea that makes sense, maybe theyre trying to spread it out ngl i still think d is a glaring need though

@DucksNation yeah i feel you on that, they didnt wanna overcommit like last year but man now we gotta hope that defense by committee thing actually works out this year

@section114ana i know you're saying d is still a need but man thats a pretty big risk takin in hoping that whole defense by committee thing works out imo

@Ducks19 yea i feel u, its not like we added nothing of note but that d concern is still heavy on my mind man the cap is gonna be a whole different story come feb too
