honestly i think its gonna be tough for anyone to steal reps from murray imo hes had the backup spot basically his whole career now man. idk how much of that is talent vs just being a known quantity tho?

murray's been around for too long ngl we need some fresh blood in net man it's getting old seeing him play backup

imo we gotta give murray some credit for being around and stable, but i feel ya it's time to bring in some new life and competition

murray's been around way too long, we cant just keep rolling him out there as "the safe choice" idk man @PenguinsDiehard gets it but hes still got to be pushed

I think @PenguinsDiehard has a point about giving Murray credit for stability, but it's hard to argue against fresh blood at this stage of his career. His save percentages have been trending down in recent years and the team would be better off having a legit contender for the backup spot.

Murray's still got 2 seasons left on that deal

@tj_morris yeah i know about his deal but 2 seasons is a while from now, we still need a good backup for him ngl he cant keep playing like that on his own

i mean 2 seasons is a while from now and idk if Murray's even gonna be playing like that by then tbh his play has been slipping for years now man

tbh i think we're gonna see some changes with Murray's contract coming up ngl i don't know if he'll even want to stick around here after the way they've been handling things @fenwickfan would know more about that tho
