Seems like a straightforward cap-clearing move for both teams. Gudas provides some playoff experience and physicality on the backend, which could be beneficial for Florida's postseason push. Loser is obviously AJ Greer, but his departure isn't shocking given his pending UFA status.
tbh i'm not sure about gudas fit in florida he's been on some pretty weak teams in the past and i don't know if he'll make a huge difference for them but at least they didn't give up much in aj greer imo he's been decent for an energy guy
im no expert but ngl i think it's a decent pickup for florida gudas is a veteran dman who can provide some grit and playoff experience which is more than you can say about most of their d corp last year tbh the AJ Greer trade seems like a minor cost to acquire someone with that kind of profile
tbh greer was never gonna be a pano lol just kidding sorta but seriously gudas adds some needed sandpaper on d and has playoff experience which is huge for us winners all around ngl i think this move makes sense cap-wise too now lets see if he can help us get out of round 1
