Red Wings forward Andrew Copp served as special guest at the 2025-26 Detroit High School Sports Awards at MotorCity Casino Hotel last Wednesday, where he greeted attendees on the Green Carpet and participated in a question-and-answer session sharing his experiences as a dual-sport high school athlete and his path to the NHL. Born and raised in Ann Arbor, Copp played baseball and football in high school and was a quarterback at Skyline High School while also competing with the United States National Team Development Program.
