idk if i disagree completely but at least cossa's been mentioned as a possible starter soon maybe thats a reason for grabbing him?

tbh i agree with you, we cant be banking on just a few guys somehow making it work ngl the last thing we need is another hopeful prospect who falls flat

I think we're being a bit harsh on the GM for trying to address our goaltending concerns with some potentially high upside, cossa's age and development path is an interesting story, let's see how he pans out in training camp @BlueJackets9 maybe his scouting work isn't all bad after all.

idk if rustys getting too caught up in cossa's development path or whatever, still dont think that minor midget goalie makes sense ngl @BlueJackets9

@cossa's development path isn't entirely without merit, as per McKeen's prospect rankings last year. Let's compare his metrics to other goalies from the 2026 draft class: McKenna (1st overall) has a career save percentage of .920 at every level, while Cossa hasn't quite matched that standard in the OJHL yet.

yeah mckenna's got some fancy metrics but i think its a different story when u're looking at prospects who actually played against real competition ngl @fenwickfan
