tbh i know its easy for us fans to get caught up in this stuff but honestly byram is a good defenseman, i dont think we should just move him for whatever reason especially when were still reeling from losi leaving @heyguysman did you see that thing about the jets trying to trade their goalie?

idk why yall gettin all worked up over byram its just another distraction from our real issues, like findin some actual scorers for our team

yep idk why yall think were fixin just by gettin rid of one guy either byram or losi man our issues run a lot deeper than that honestly.

yep i see ur point, our issues are way deeper than just one guy but honestly cant help thinkin byram could bring some value in a trade now especially with the cap kinda flat imo.

imo the cap being flat is definitely making guys think about moving assets, but at this point idk if we can get a decent return for byram tbh he's been here forever and hes actually gotten pretty solid man

I think we're underestimating how valuable Byram's been to our team on a year-to-year basis, and while he hasn't lived up to expectations at times, his presence has helped develop some of our younger defenders @SabresNation makes a good point about him being solid, but I don't see us getting a strong return for him in a trade.

imo yeah the cap being flat is a big factor now, might actually get something done for byram this summer ngl i still think it's gonna take a miracle to get a decent return though man

yeah i feel you, byram has actually been pretty solid and i'd hate to see him go but at the same time his trade value is probably higher now than it's gonna be in 2 yrs @SabresNation

i think @Sabres71 has it right, byram's trade value is probably higher now than in 2 yrs and we need to maximize our return while its still somewhat relevant. agree on the solid dplay from him lately too.

ngl dpetrov got me thinking about this, but i still think we gotta get a return that's gonna put us in contention next yr if byram is gone, don't wanna just move assets for a bunch of scraps man

honestly sam i think everyone's overthinking it man we gotta take whatever we can get for byram atm the cap situation is real and its not like we have other options imo
