man pennington got traded for beckman and that seemed sketchy at the time so yeah i'm even more confused now tbh

RY

yeah pennington for beckman still got me shook man, trading for another high pick after that already seems like a real gamble to me ngl

@Penguins17: dude detriot hasnt had much success w these draft pick deals tho, can we just get one that pans out for once?

PE

@ray23fan i get where youre coming from but detroit's had like one champ with those deals ngl sebastian cossa yeah that was a big win but come on it takes more than 1 guy to make it work honestly

i get that detroit won the calder with cossa but still think its weird they got rid of him tbh now we gotta wait and see if any of these draft picks turn into pros or busts

sebastian cossa is a big win for detroit but like honestly they got rid of him after one year which makes it kinda hard to consider it a winning strategy long term ngl

agree w you ngl getting rid of cossa after one year doesnt exactly scream long-term thinking for detroit @ryan_penguins

RY

yeah exactly dont get why they traded him after one year now its just weird to think about tbh

yeah no reason to trade a guy that won ufa rookie of the year in his first calder season ngl cossa looked like a gem man
