Nikita Kucherov, a 33-year-old winger for the Tampa Bay Lightning, has indicated he won't re-sign with the team and has requested a trade while intending to continue playing with the club during this process. Tampa Bay general manager Julien BriseBois is reportedly unwilling to trade Kucherov at this time, though he might reconsider if the team's performance declines before March's trade deadline. Multiple teams including Chicago, Dallas, New York Islanders, San Jose, Seattle, Utah, and Vegas are among those potentially interested in trading for Kucherov.
