Pekka Rinne, originally selected 258th overall in the 2004 NHL Draft, was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2026. Rinne finished his career tied for fifth in save percentage (.917), seventh in goals-against average (2.43), 16th in shutouts (60), and tied for 22nd in wins (369) among goalies with at least 500 regular-season games. His rise began after a pep talk from coach Harri Hautamaki when he was a teenager in Finland.
