As Larkin rumors swirl, Caps pull the trigger on trade
TheWire1h ago
The Washington Capitals acquired goaltender Rémi Poirier from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for a 7th round draft pick. The trade occurred after the Capitals lost Clay Stevenson when he was claimed off waivers by Winnipeg. Poirier, a 25-year-old with AHL experience, fills the void left by Stevenson's departure and strengthens the Capitals' minor league goaltending depth.
