Jaxon Cover, an 18-year-old right wing from the Cayman Islands who moved to Canada at age 12, was selected 32nd overall by the Ottawa Senators in the 2026 NHL Draft. Cover developed his skating style playing inline hockey in the Caymans before transitioning to ice hockey in Canada and becoming a prospect for the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League. He has committed to play for Penn State University starting in the 2027-28 season.
