The Tampa Bay Lightning stated they have no intention of trading Nikita Kucherov despite reports that he wants to be traded and will not re-sign with the team. Kucherov is in the final season of an eight-year, $76 million contract and became the Lightning's all-time leading scorer in October. He has 15 points in 12 games this season and is committed to the team for the remainder of the year according to coach Jon Cooper.
