Carlo traded to Blues by Maple Leafs for draft picks
Brandon Carlo was traded from the Toronto Maple Leafs to the St. Louis Blues on Saturday, with Toronto receiving two third-round picks in the 2026 NHL Draft. Carlo has one season remaining on his contract with an average annual value of $4.1 million and recorded seven assists in 55 games for the Maple Leafs this season. Blues general manager Doug Armstrong cited Carlo's size, experience, and defensive ability as reasons for the acquisition, noting it allows younger defensemen to develop at a natural pace.
