Red Wings reportedly need help from NHL team to make Dylan Larkin trade

A trade for Dylan Larkin will likely require a third NHL team to provide the immediate top-six roster value that Detroit demands. Interim general manager Shawn Horcoff has refused to accept future-based assets in return for Larkin. Contenders want to add Larkin's 30-goal, top-line center presence but are unwilling to surrender an equivalent player from their own roster.
