Rare Debut Win For Red Wings Homegrown Goalie
TheWire2h ago
Michal Postava earned his first NHL win in his debut start for the Red Wings, becoming the first homegrown goalie to accomplish this since Petr Mrazek in 2013. Since 1990, only 12 homegrown goalies have made their NHL debut for the Red Wings, with Postava being just the fifth to win in that debut. Postava was called up from the AHL Grand Rapids Griffins where he posted a 1.25 GAA and .954 save percentage.
