Taylor Hall was activated from injured reserve by the Hurricanes and could play Tuesday against Boston after practicing for the first time since his upper-body injury on October 13. Logan Thompson returned to practice with the Capitals on Monday after a lower-body injury but it remains unclear if he will play Wednesday against Philadelphia. Chris Tanev practiced fully with the Maple Leafs after an upper-body injury but was not cleared to play in their loss to the Flames.
