Red Wings add another Plante to organization with second-round pick

The Red Wings selected winger Victor Plante with the 47th overall pick in the second round of the 2024 NHL Entry Draft, making him the second Plante brother drafted by Detroit after his brother Max was also selected 47th overall in the 2024 draft. Victor recorded 48 points (21 goals, 27 assists) in 57 games with the U.S. National Team Development Program and attended the draft in Buffalo, New York with approximately 16 family members.
